selpHbalance Natural Testosterone Booster Review
First Look:
A hint of the vegan brigade is visible but not too much to warrant hessian sandals and hemp clothing, but actually it all looks fairly neutral and inoffensive, it looks honest and reliable and maybe something you would by in WALMART and not necessarily a hardcore supps store.

– Our best & worst testosterone booster ingredients –
Ingredients:
We are assured that this product contains no steroids, hormones, drugs or fillers and just all-natural goodness.
However, we are punished with a proprietary blend which means we are not entirely sure of the ingredient profile breakdown:
Tongkat Ali (AKA Longjack or Eurycoma Longifolia) – is a pro-fertility agent and aphrodisiac that appears to have a large body of evidence supporting this role and some evidence suggesting it may be an anti-estrogen and pro-erectile agent. Although there’s some research to suggest it may increase testosterone levels in animals and humans it is pretty lackluster which doesn’t bode too well.

Tribulus Terrestris – Once regarding as the mother of all testosterone boosters, it was all crap. Further testing has ruled this out to be nothing more than helping boost libido at best. Avoid.

Hawthorn Berries – At best this ingredient may help with reducing inflammation and blood flow but there’s no concrete evidence to be found regarding increasing testosterone levels. Every article relating to testosterone increases with Hawthorn berries is on a site wanting you to buy them.
Horny Goat Weed – Epimedium, the suspected active component of horny goat weed, appears to act as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, similar to some drugs used for erectile dysfunction.

Eleutherococcus Senticosus (Siberian Ginseng) – Whilst there is evidence that this can actually help treat herpes and reduce the severity of cold and flu, there is very little solid evidence to reliably suggest this helps increase testosterone or increase strength.

Ashwaganda – Studies have shown that treatment with Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of LH among infertile men having sub-optimal testosterone levels. It’s difficult to see if the same result would be found with guys who do not have any fertility issues. So the question is, are you infertile? If you’ve been banging your missus (or even your mistress, we shouldn’t be even talking if you have smashed your sister) unprotected and have miraculously not had a sprog you probably are infertile…sorry to break that to you, bro.

Cordyceps – Evidence on tested rats to suggest this is a testosterone regulator rather than provide increases, however, only when injected as it has poor bio-availability.

Panax Ginseng (American Ginseng) – This form of Ginseng is the most highly researched. There’s lots of evidence which suggest cognitive function, mood and immunity is increased, however, although there is evidence for better erections and an increase in testosterone production for infertile men there is also evidence contradictory evidence also.

Dose:
2 pills per day – this amounts to a depressingly low amount of ingredients daily – this is among one of lowest dosing products we have tested thus far. 2 pills is far from ideal but a dose of 4 pills per day is better to avoid peaks and troughs of the ingredients to take full effect.
Take a look at our Top 3 boosters for something effective.
Effects:
A depressing outcome for this product really because none of the listed ingredients are proven to help stimulate more testosterone unless you are infertile and you may have a chance, that coupled with a proprietary blend may mean that you are getting 1mg of Ginseng and 800mg of tribulus followed up with 5mg of Horny Goat Weed etc. We have no way of knowing and it is a farce.
Negatives:
Nothing solid here to work with, no proven ingredients with background research, a low daily dose of 1000mg and a poor dosing schedule of just 2 tablets per day. Unfortunately this product is going nowhere except the trash can. It is also $17.99 too expensive for my liking.
Conclusion:
The ingredient profile is not too useful even though the product comes with a 110% money back guarantee which means either they are bankrupt or nobody can be bothered to apply for a refund.
There is a low daily dose 1000mg which is less than a third of our #1 testosterone booster and it is missing key ingredients such as D-Aspartic Acid, D3, B6, B12, K2, Fenugreek, Magnesium, Zinc, Fenugreek and even Oyster extract. A poor offering from what looked like an honest product.
