My Advanced Molecular Labs Test Review First Look

Let’s look at this testosterone booster from Advanced Molecular Labs.

I have cycled to work in the gale force winds and have arrived with twigs, bugs and dust in my hair.

I can feel the muscle ache from yesterdays gym session, but I feel ready to hit the gym again soon thanks to maintaining a high level of testosterone.

As I am 34 I always ensure that I eat right while exercising.

I mainly hit the compound lifts to maximise testosterone production but couple it with a natural testosterone booster supplement.

This looks fairly clean cut.

A pharmaceutical style white bottle with TEST boldly emblazoned across the front in white.

Although to me that does hint at being a fat burner.

Overall, it does look clean and tidy, but doesn’t really stand out.

As men age, they often make less testosterone – [https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/understanding-how-testosterone-affects-men]

My Advanced Molecular Labs Test Review Ingredients: The Science

So, let’s list through each ingredient and look at the associated studies:

– Zinc

Needed for many reactions in the brain and a key component for releasing the luteinzing hormone (LH).

LH is primarily responsible for the production of testosterone and growth hormone.

The fact that it’s in here is great, there’s plenty of studies proving its worth.

Science has demonstrated that those people who exercise regularly and intensely are more likely to have an insufficient level of Zinc.

– Grape Seed Extract (Vitis Vinifera)

Grapes, or the chemicals within them, especially oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes (OPCs), have been touted as powerful antioxidants yet in humans there is a real lack of clear evidence that there are any real benefits.

– Boron

In a study concerning men who took 10mg of Boron a day they saw their estrogen levels drop and their free testosterone rise.

Boron is a mineral which also helps improve bone and joint health which is important to be able to lift weights and keep an active lifestyle.

This demonstrates the importance to supplement with boron in order to harmonise your hormone levels.

– Fenugreek Seed

It is claimed by researchers that fenugreek works to increase testosterone or androgen levels, which decrease as you age.

Further research also shows that fenugreek seed extract is able to reduce the daily fat intake in overweight males if taken orally at a dose of 392mg three times daily for two to six weeks.

So, to include Fenugreek in your supplement allowance is advised.

– Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)

This is a hormone produced by the body’s adrenal glands. The body uses DHEA to make androgens and estrogens, the male and female sex hormones.

DHEA levels peak at about age 25, then go down steadily as you get older.

By the time people are 70 to 80 years old, their DHEA levels are only 10% to 20% those in young adults.

However, there is little evidence to show that DHEA has any effect on enhancing muscle strength. [1] [2] [3]

– Eurycoma Longifolia (Longjack)

There are some claims that Longjack will increase testosterone levels.

Yet, there is very little evidence surrounding the claims.

There’s no human studies available proving that Longjack is effective when taken orally.

However, the most positive outcome from studies of Tongkat Ali is that it can help reduce day-to-day stress.

– Vitamin D

D3 is a great Testosterone boosting vitamin that must be taken advantage of to trigger further production of Testosterone in your body.

Not only is Vitamin D3 a great testosterone boosting ingredients it is also good for healthy heart function.

A 5 year study by the University of Leeds in the UK found startling improvements in the pumping ability of the patients (suffering heart failure) who were being administered vitamin D3.

It is also good to note that vitamin D3 is more effective that the synthetic D2 which is available and sometimes turns up in some lower grade testosterone boosters.

How To Take Advanced Molecular Labs Test

We are to take two capsules per day.

Although there are no instructions on their site on how and when to take the capsules.

We would advise that it is better to spread the dose out over the course of the day.

This ensures our body has a constant supply of nutrients to work with.

This will prevent peaks and troughs.

If you supply your body with lots of the same nutrients at once it will pass what is not required.

Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.

It is better to have a continued trickle effect.

Advanced Molecular Labs Test Dosage

A daily dose is very slightly over 990mg.

This dose is about a third of what yoo would find in the best natural testosterone boosters which will consist of around 3000mg or more.

Advanced Molecular Labs Test Review Price

$39.99

Pros

Just over half of this product contains scientifically proven ingredients.

This testosterone booster only had a total of seven ingredients.

Just four are clinically beneficial to help increase testosterone levels.

These include:

  1. Zinc
  2. D3
  3. Fenugreek
  4. Boron

Eurycoma appears to reduce stress levels. And, too much stress can have a negative effect on testosterone production.

Cons

A further two ingredients have no proof.

Yes, that’s right.

DHEA and Grape are not proven to increase testosterone levels at all.

They both lack real evidence that they have a positive effect on hormones.

The dose needs to be increased.

Unwanted Advanced Molecular Labs Test Review Side Effects

One of the ingredients could pose potential health risks.

DHEA could be dangerous to use when taken in high doses. Avoid taking a dose of over 100mg daily for a long period of time.

DHEA could also have a negative impact on people who have diabetes as well as making liver issues worse if you are suffering from problems already.

If you suffer from mood disorders DHEA can make the problems worse.

Sexual inappropriateness is just one issue but mania is another common side effect.

What Improvements Could Be Made to Advanced Molecular Labs Test Review?

DHEA and Grape should be replaced.

There are plenty of other proven and effective nutrients available that can increase testosterone stimulation.

Any additional ingredients would already support the four that are already included.

Look at the ingredients listed below which would be of benefit:

Some of these proven ingredients are included in the best testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel.

My Advanced Molecular Labs Test Review Conclusion

This offers a good base.

That means there’s a good starting point with this test booster but it requires further development.

As it stands, for optimal testosterone secretion you would need to add other supplements to this testosterone booster.

That means a higher price and less convenience.

The inclusion of DHEA is almost bordering on irresponsible considering some of the potential side effects.

Any final words for this review..?

It would have been far beneficial if more proven ingredients were included instead of risking health issues.

Thus, you should check out the better options, here.
