Applied Nutrition Stored-Fat Citrus Metabolizer Fat Burner First Look

I am off to Thailand much sooner than I remembered, in fact it is just over 2 months away and although summer has just finished an increase in workload and now with the rugby season upon us my body is often too injured or aching to go hard in the gym which really pisses me off.

As a result I am worried I am losing the definition I had become accustomed too, without the mere glimpse of spare time to really check it out, a good fat burner is more than ever on the agenda.

Alas, here is the brightly colored Citrus Metabolizer. Although I must admit it screams Vitamin D3 supplement to me.

Ingredients

untitled

proprietary blend

Sinetrol-XPur – Supplementation is a viable option for reducing abdominal fat, waist and hip circumference, and body weight and for improving inflammatory, glycemic, and oxidative status in healthy overweight individuals. While the effects are positive for fat loss, it is more effective at reducing inflammation and oxidative stress than anything.

Guarana – This is a stimulant and contains caffeine which works to stimulate the heart and muscles. There’s talk of it being used for mental clarity but actually little evidence to support these claims.

Citrus Sinensis (Moro juice) – This can be used in weight management and in the prevention of human obesity.

Dose

4 pills daily which amounts to an insignificant 450mg, I would much prefer 4 pills to be spread out across the day to ensure that the body suffers less spikes and troughs of the ingredients.

It is 4 pills per day which are found with the best fat burners.

Effects

Only 3 ingredients with two of them being positive, the guarana contains caffeine which helps with endurance before your energy is spent.

Caffeine also raises the metabolism which means you burn more calories and Caffeine, particularly Caffeine Anhydrous is included in the ingredient list of Instant Knockout which I plus many others regard as the best performing fat burner.

The most effective ingredients here though are Sinetrol Xpur and Citrus Sinensis which both are effective at reducing fat.

Negatives

This is really low dosed, like really low which is a shame considering so much of the competition contains around 6 times as much ingredients.

It is also lacking many other proven ingredients that would make this a potential world beater. As it is, we only have the 3 ingredients to help which is around 6 fewer than many other top performing fat burner’s.

In addition, if I were to be a bit harsh, as good as Sinetrol is, it is far more effective at reducing inflammation than it is at weight management.

This is also a proprietary blend too which ain’t no good!

Applied Nutrition Stored-Fat Citrus Metabolizer Fat Burner Review Conclusion

This is a good effort with 2 great ingredients, the problem is, it is missing approximately 9 other great ingredients too which would make it even more effective.

Why they stopped and only completed half a job is beyond me, especially when there is such good potential.

Why they offered such a low dose is also mystifying, to make matters worse it is also a proprietary blend which effectively conceals the actual breakdown of ingredients meaning we may only get trace amounts with the rest being bulked out by a filling agent.

If they had included ingredients such as Glucomman, B12, B6, Cayenne, Zinc and Green Tea to name a few it would have fared much better as these are found in the best legal fat burner’s available today.
