Beyond Raw Anabololic Sleep Testosterone Booster First Look:

Did you know that your body releases growth hormone as you sleep? Yes, that is correct, your body releases its own naturally produced steroid when at rest.

Therefore, it is paramount that as we look to stimulate more testosterone that we sleep well and sufficiently.

Not only that, if we wan’t our body to operate effectively in all situations good sleep is a requirement. There’s nothing worse than trying to complete a task when you’ve only have 3 or 4 hours sleep that night.

So how do es this look?

Well it certainly looks the part, black and dark purple color schemes feel a bit sleepy to me and are the opposite of the bright, vivid packaging found with pre-workouts.

We’re also told that this product is of clinical quality, of that we are assuming that this is like a medical supplement.

Let’s see…

Ingredients:

Palmitic Acid – A diet with Palmitic Acid supplementation results in higher levels of HDL cholesterol (the good cholesterol).

Phosphorus – Higher serum phosphorus levels are associated with cardiovascular disease. It is unknown if sex hormones associate with phosphorus levels in humans.

Ashwaganda – Studies have shown that treatment with Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of LH among infertile men having sub-optimal testosterone levels.

It’s difficult to see if the same result would be found with guys who do not have any fertility issues. So the question is, are you infertile? If you’ve been banging your missus (or even your mistress, we shouldn’t be even talking if you have smashed your sister) unprotected and have miraculously not had a sprog you probably are infertile…sorry to break that to you, bro.

Calcium – Results show that training results in increased testosterone levels in athletes and that the increase is greater if accompanied by calcium supplementation.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19099204

However, a recent study has warned against calcium supplementation due to the increased risk of a heart attack.

L-Theanine –  Beneficial for stress reduction, decreasing generalized anxiety, and reducing the severity of insomnia. If caffeine is present too, IQ scores have known to increase – so grap a cup of coffee, quick.

Melatonin which is usually produced in response to low light levels, causing one to feel sleepy. More sleep means more muscle growth and development.

Gamma Aminobutyric Acid – GABA is used under the tongue for increasing the sense of well-being, relieving injuries, improving exercise tolerance, decreasing body fat, and increasing lean body weight. However, there is not enough evidence to proof that it can fulfill these claims.

– Our best & worst testosterone booster ingredients –

Dose:

2 capsules per day to be taken with water in the evening before bedtime. This equates to a pretty unsubstantial 1343mg.

Effects:

Melatonin and L-Theanine are the only really effective ingredients here that can offer some good benefits.

However, it is good to see that Palmitic Acid can increase the levels of HDL cholesterol.

-Take a look at our Top 3 boosters for something effective-

Negatives:

Apart from the 3 ingredients that offer any benefits, the rest are somewhat unfounded in their abilities.

Too much calcium can induce a heart attack and Phosphorus isn’t going to help with any cardiovascular problems either.

Then there’s the not entirely conclusive GABA and Ashwagandha.

The daily dose is also lacking somewhat.

This leaves us with very little to go with.

Beyond Raw Anabolic Sleep Testosterone Booster Conclusion:

This is not particularly well thought out, considered nor researched. With a few of the ingredients not being effective and also potentially cause cardio vascular issues. Not something that really attracts me to a product.

This is missing too many testosterone boosting ingredients such as D-Aspartic Acid, D3, B12, Fenugreek or K2 to be truly effective and at $49.99 you would be better off spending a little extra to gain a whole lot more.

Score:

1/5

    1. They are the instructions given by the manufacturer.
Overall though, the daily dose is low compared to many products.

  1. I didnt see any indication that this supplement was a testosterone booster. It doesnt seemed marketed towards that

    1. It falls within a bit of a grey area. Natural growth hormone is released when we sleep. This is supposed to aid sleep and stimulate testosterone. It shares a few ingredients with other testosterone boosters.

It falls under testosterone booster categories when shopping online.
