FinaFlex PX ULTRA Fat Burner Review // Does This Work?

FinaFlex PX Ultra Fat Burner First Look:

I have already looked at a few other products from FinaFlex and they are share the same design DNA.

This is no bad thing, I think it looks quite purposeful and not at all of a poor quality.

However, it should not be just based on looks. We want substance. Although from time to time we just want titties, yeah, and fuck the law degree or what other opinions she comes with.

Ingredients: The Science

Toothed Clubmoss (Devil’s Ash, Devil’s Claw, Ground Pine) – Traditionally used for memory improvement and cognition.

Alpha-GPC – Appears to have cognitive-enhancing properties but there’s no human evidence exists to support this in otherwise-healthy youth, yet it does have support in rodents. In regards to reducing the rate of cognitive decline, at high doses (1,200 mg) does appear to be somewhat effective in mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease.

Yohimbe – Related to Yohimbine, Yohimbe is a powerful stimulant and used to increase fat loss as well as assist with erectile dysfunction. Can cause a host of other problems though, this is in our supplements to avoid list.

Supplementation with yohimbine combined with resistance training does not significantly alter the body mass, muscle mass, or performance indicators.

Purple Chrysanthemum – It may increase blood flow to the heart as well as insulin sensitivity. However, no evidence to prove this.

Theacrine (1,3,7,9-tetramethyluric acid) – An alkaloid molecule which can be seen as a structurally modified version of caffeine.

However, although it is similar to caffeine whereby it has a sedative effect at relatively low doses, but where this sedative effect with caffeine is at an impractically low dose with theacrine it is the dose normally consumed by tea.

Cocoa Bean Extract – Studies show that in conjunction with a controlled diet, cocoa bean extract may play a role in body weight management.

L-Theanine –  Beneficial for stress reduction, decreasing generalized anxiety, and reducing the severity of insomnia. If caffeine is present too, IQ scores have known to increase – so grab a cup of coffee, quick.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17182482

Grains Of Paradise Extract (Aframomum melegueta) – Oral ingestion of GP extract increases energy expenditure.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23308394

Caffeine (1, 3, 7-trimethylxanthine) – Caffeine intake is associated with weight loss through thermogenesis and fat oxidation.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16076989

Guayusa – This is a stimulant similar to coffee. It can also be lethal but only is doses of 5000mg per kg of body weight, but as with coffee the outcomes are similar too. It can assist with weight loss.

Green Tea – well known to have many powerful health benefits. Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat. One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese. Some researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect.

Dose:

There’s a 2 pill daily dose as per the instructions. We are served a lowly 1320mg of ingredients per day.

A dose of (4) pills spread out evenly across the day is recommended to ensure a steady trickle of nutrients for your body to work with and is found with the best fat burners on the market.

Pros:

6 ingredients offer benefits for weight loss and focus. However, considering that is out of 11 ingredients in total it does not shed to much positive light on the product.

However, it is good to see some basic and effective ingredients such as Caffeine and Green Tea which are found in the best fat burner we have encountered.

It is a nice touch to include Theanine as well which works well with caffeine to reduce stress. High stress levels also negatively effective testosterone levels and healthy levels of testosterone also help towards fat loss.

We do not often see Grains of Paradise but this looks to be a good addition to any fat burner.

Cons:

Overall the dose is low and this can inhibit the effectiveness of ingredients such as Alpha-GPC that would require more than the combined daily dose offered here to be anywhere near beneficial.

This is also a proprietary blend, our stance on proprietary blends is that they should be avoided, period.

Let’s also be aware that ingredients like Yohimbe can potentially be dangerous while offering fuck all benefits when combined with exercise.

Too many ingredients do not have conclusive evidence supporting their claims.

FinaFlex PX Ultra Fat Burner Conclusion:

First things first. This consists of a proprietary blend. That is a no from me.

However, let’s look at the other negatives too:

  • Inefficient dose
  • Potentially dangerous ingredients
  • Lack of evidence

There are far better and more effective fat burners on the market, to waste your time and hard earned pay check on this would be foolish.

A fat burner or any supplement for that matter should have a plethora of proven ingredients not a mixture of elements that are based on anecdote.
