EVLTEST Review
EVLTEST is a testosterone booster that has been on the market for a long time, it is competitively priced and has a large following in the UK at least where EVL TEST UK reigns supreme.
We dig deep to see what is good and what improvements need to be made.

EVLTEST First Look
If you’re looking for a testosterone booster at the moment, chances are you’ve come across EVLTEST from EVLUTION Nutrition.
Currently one of the higher ranking testosterone boosters on the Bodybuilding.com website, EVLTEST claims to aid your lifestyle and training in the following ways:
- Improved Testosterone Levels
- More Energy
- Better Strength and Performance
- Supports Healthy Sleep
That last one is a rarity in a testosterone booster, but I can see why they’ve put it in.
Most testosterone secretion happens during sleep, however after studying these ingredients, I struggled to see how this product promotes it.
Nevertheless, I’ve gone through this supplement in its entirety to see if it’s really worth the money.
Here’s what you need to know…
Who are EVLUTION?
EVLUTION Nutrition are a pretty established brand by now.
They work closely with Bodybuilding.com along with GNC.
When it comes to products, they’ve got quite a lot.
EVLUTION Nutrition supply a range of supplements that cover multiple aspects of the lifting lifestyle; pre, post and intra workout supplements are all available on the company’s website.
Overall I think the look of this product is bold, stylish and professional. It isn’t heading down the pharma route that many try to con people with.
It is proud that it is a sport supplement and not afraid to show it.
I’ve always hear mixed feedback about this company’s products so I’m pretty glad I’m getting my honest opinion out there.

Ingredients: The Science
There’s a bit of a mixed bag with the ingredients in EVLTEST, but on the whole this is not too bad at all.
Most of the ingredients in this product are effective for boosting low T levels, my only concern is not a lot of thought has gone in to blocking estrogen or reducing stress.
I’ll get into that later, as for now here’s what I saw as the most important ingredients in EVLTEST:
– Vitamin D3
This is more of a hormone than it is a vitamin. D3 is absorbed via our skin from the sun’s rays and is closely linked to testosterone production.
We are advised by many international health organisations to have at least 2000iu per day if we do not get enough from the sun.
This is because not only can D3 help increase testosterone levels, it can reduce overall mortality, treat depression and help keep bones strong and healthy.
EVLTEST falls short by 1000iu and is much less than the 5000iu found in some other test booster supplements. [1]
– Magnesium
Magnesium is a mineral that has proven in clinical trials to increase total and free testosterone levels.
Magnesium has also proven itself to contribute towards reducing stress and helping aid better sleep. [2]
– Zinc
Zinc is another proven mineral that can help produce more natural testosterone. It cannot be stored, nor can it be produced by the body.
As a result, you need to ensure your diet is full of zinc or use a supplement for optimal results. Being low on zinc is easy to avoid and its benefits are multiple. [3]
– Vitamin B6
Studies in to B6 have demonstrated that it can increase testosterone production. This is great to learn. But we are not done just yet, B6 can also improve sleep.
If you are low on B6 your body will not be slow to let you know about it either, because you will feel weak, muscle will ache and you will find it hard to concentrate. [4]
– D-Aspartic Acid
DAA is a useful and proven way to improve testosterone secretion, but only if dosed enough.
We have noted that the amount of D3 is rather low, but thankfully this provides more than the necessary 2000mg of D-Aspartic Acid.
That is because DAA is able to release hormones from the brain and testicles, these include growth hormones.
It is also effective to improve sperm quality and motility. [5] [6]
– Fenugreek
Fenugreek in doses of around 500mg has been proven to stimulate testosterone production.
It is also able to limit and reduce aromatase whereby testosterone is converted in to estrogen. [7]
– Tribulus Terrestris
Tribulus sounds great, it supposedly has steroid like abilities to help increase testosterone levels and improve your physical performance.
However, none of this has been proven to be true. It is not going to increase testosterone levels, and it has proven not to.
Here’s three studies to review. [8] [9] [10]
– DIM (Diindolylmethane)
DIM is effective at helping maintain a healthy hormone balance by regulating estrogen levels.
If you get a build up of estrogen it will have a negative effect on muscle and fat mass.
DIM is found in vegetables such as broccoli, but if you do not like broccoli there’s DIM included in EVLTEST. [11]
This product still needs work.

How to take EVLTEST
Unfortunately this is a one serving per day supplement, that I’ve never really approved of.
I’ve always firmly believed 3 – 4 servings a day is the best way to continually promote testosterone levels as per the best testosterone boosters on the market.
Relying on one dose a day opens you up to your levels falling back down to their usual rate in the 24 hour period between servings.
If you get too much of certain ingredients, that what the body doesn’t need at the time will be wasted and you will not feel the benefit.
Pros
As this is a one serving a day product, you’ll get a lift after taking EVLTEST but it will fade a few hours afterwards.
The chances of it raising your test aren’t the best that it could be, and it definitely won’t protect you against many rises in estrogen levels.
However, items such as D3, DAA, Fenugreek plus ZMA contents are all found in good testosterone boosters that we found to be the most effective in trials.
The problem lies within the dosing and the inclusion of Tribulus which is a real waste of time.
Cons
The inclusion of Tribulus Terrestris is always a drawback.
It shows ignorance on their part due to trib’s ineffectiveness in every clinical trial, and they could’ve replaced it with more from an under-dosed ingredient like vitamin D3.
Despite what the RDA states, 1000IUs of D3 is not enough to boost test levels effectively and it lags way behind the market leader.
The other negative is the single serving, as I don’t feel it’s enough to adequately boost testosterone at level that a serious lifter would be looking for.
It also omits many other proven and highly regarded ingredients that you will find in other supplements.
Ingredients such as the following should be included for maximum natural testosterone stimulation:
- D3
- Boron
- K2
- Vit. C
- Panax Ginseng
- Oyster
With vital ingredients such as these missing, it will not be able to perform with quite as much effect.
Unwanted Side Effects
Unfortunately tribulus can offer some unwanted side effects for women in particular.
If you are pregnant or breast feeding do not use supplements containing tribulus as they can have a negative effect on fetus development and child growth.
EVLTEST Natural Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion
This product has a good foundation, but certain factors have really let it down.
Firstly, I’d like to say that the main ingredients in this product were great.
Most were clinically proven, but it’s how they were delivered that really became the products downfall.
One serving a day just isn’t viable to produce optimum amounts of testosterone.
The body needs a constant supply in order to reach optimum testosterone levels for maximum gains.
There’s then the lack of overall ingredients, too.
When a product omits so many, proven ingredients that are widely available to increase more natural testosterone, and there are alternative natural T booster supplements available that include them with higher doses, this doesn’t look such good value.
If you’re interested in my top recommendations for the best natural testosterone boosters, you can find all the information you need over here.
