My iFORCE Nutrition SAFFRON EXTRACT Fat Burner Review First Look:

I have been talking with the cat a lot today. It may sound absolutely mental but she doesn’t half make a racket. Constantly meowing, chirping, purring…the lot.

She has a great nature and personality.

I sold my Honda Civic Type-R yesterday to a man who she immediately warmed too.

He was a doctor and loved stoking her fur as we discussed the benefits of a v8 engine over a high revving inline four cylinder.

Everyone who meets her falls for her charm and as I type, she is commenting on my lurid choice of color chosen for my socks.

I do feel however, her future in my house is coming to an end in the upcoming months of 2018. Her charms have worked so well she may well be getting adopted by some loving children who can offer much more for her unlike my occasional chin stroke.

The problem is, when you live alone, and there’s no one to chat shit to, you feel inclined to snack a lot just for a bit of variation.

So, while Molly has been here keeping me occupied, on the times she is gallivanting outside in the grave yard across the street I tend to wander around the house dipping my hands in cereal packets, frying bacon, drinking endless cups of coffee, or as I have done earlier today…chopped a massive bastard bush down.

I am a bit concerned about this because I have an old Yorkshire stone style cottage house.

It has a nice creeper style bush climbing up the front of the house and to be fair, adds some lovely country style character.

It is also overtaking the house so I just started chopping at it like a mad man today and I feel it could be a mistake.

I had wanted to put some nice Christmas lights in there for winter but now I have probably fucked it.

So, basically, what I am trying to say is this:

If I become fat and I have ruined Christmas because I messed around with nature on my house I am blaming the cat one way or another.

Orrrrr it is because I have been eating too much, exercising too less and generally being slack and love to blame something else rather than my tardy self.

With this self reflection in mind, I will be hitting the weights later, I will be cycling 7 miles to work tomorrow and I will probably eat some potatoes later this evening at my girlfriends house…I hope there’s some gravy too.

It’s not going too well is it? Well there’s always an additional bit of help if required (I require this extra help!).

My only saving grace is that I didn’t go out boozing this weekend and decided that relaxed evenings in with my partner in crime (well, not actual crime – that’s illegal!) eating and chilling out was a better option.

I also feel wayyyyyyy better for it too.

So, I like to make sure I can get the right help where needed and I tend to use a fat burner called Instant Knockout because it contains a whole host of effective ingredients that are proven to stimulate fat burn.

Saffron (Crocus sativus) – Studies show that saffron, at the recommended dose, has antidepressant properties. Saffron’s side effects, like reduced snacking and an elevated mood, could be the result of increased serotonin secretion.

Saffron does not have a high margin of safety, so care should be taken during supplementation. The standard daily dose is 30mg, used for up to eight weeks. It is possible that even double the dose could result in harm to the body.



Up to 2 pills per day. So take one twice daily.

This would equate up to 177mg daily.

We recommend that you have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best fat burner on the market.

This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate fat burn and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.

Saffron appears to increase serotonin production.

increased serotonin makes you feel much happier, it also makes you lose your appetite.

Now, when you take recreation drugs such as ecstasy, it makes your body increase serotonin secretion.

It was first developed and used for psychotherapy in the 1970’s.

That means loads of serotonin is released, you become loved up or have an increased level of empathy with people, it also suppresses your appetite.

If you have ever been raving and taken ecstasy you will know that your probably didn’t eat for about 24 hours…

This is down to serotonin.


Too much serotonin secretion can lead to a depletion which may cause depression in later life.

Plus, there is a bit of a fine line with Saffron supplementation, too much can be harmful and it is recommended not to take more than 30mg daily.

Yet with this supplement we are taking nearly six times that amount!

Additionally, this is lacking further ingredients that are proven to stimulate fat burn.

Fat burner’s such as Instant Knockout contain 10 proven and effective ingredients, whereas this only includes five ingredients, one of those is not conclusive either and the other is under dosed to be optimal.

Okay, so this fat burner only includes one ingredient.

On the plus side that ingredient can increase serotonin secretion.

This can increase your mood, empathy and general feelings of love.

It can also suppress your appetite.

This al sounds great, however, it is very dose sensitive.

Too much can be harmful and this supplement offers almost six times as much as what is deemed safe.

Plus, it also misses out of many other proven fat burner ingredients that are found in the best fat burners that offer no risk.

Therefore, if you buy this fat burner you will end up supplementing it with additional supplements.

This is because it omits proven ingredients such as:

  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Caffeine
  • Green Coffee Extract
  • Chromium
  • Zinc
  • B12
  • Glucomannan
  • Green Tea
  • B6

So this will have some benefit, but it will also be potentially harmful to your health.

Not to mention that it may also contribute to long term depression.
