My Magnum Nutraceuticals Carne Diem Fat Burner Review

My Magnum Nutraceuticals Carne Diem Fat Burner Review

My Magnum Nutraceuticals Carne Diem Fat Burner Review First Look:

I had a great three course dinner last night.

Started off with Calamari which is my favorite starter. Then crab and lobster macaroni cheese…! Yes, it exists and it is amazing!

Finished off with chocolate cake and peanut butter ice cream.

To say I fell asleep half way through watching Frozen would not be a lie. I was stuffed and satisfied. Only my snoring managed to wake me from my food coma.

However, I did feel I needed that food. Deadliffts the previous night had left me hungry, then cycling to work was energy sapping as were the shoulder and back workout sessions I did just before heading to the next village for dinner with my partner in crime.

The food was calorific and would probably put my macros in to a shit storm of fear and bewilderment…if I even bothered considering my macros that is.

Yet, meals like that can be just fine. If you ensure that you have a good exercise regime in place, your nutrition is generally in good shape and if you use the right supplements you can occasionally over indulge without much worry.

The problem is, tonight is my turn to cook…that isn’t going to be light either.

With my usual weekend dietary excess pretty regular I do try to make sure that my diet throughout the week is fairly clean, I like to make sure I am exercising enough and getting some weight lifting in too.

I also like to make sure I can get the right help where needed too. I tend to use a fat burner called Instant Knockout because it contains a whole host of effective ingredients that are proven to stimulate fat burn.

I have seen some great results too, that you can see here.

This fat burner from Magnum Nutraceuticals is ranked highly on a popular muscle building site, therefore, it will be interesting to see how this will work especially when compared to Instant Knockout which I use on a regular basis with great results when combined with a normal exercise and food regime.

Carnitine – Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy. It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes.

Men who were supplemented 2g per day showed an increase of Insulin like growth hormone when combined with exercise.

Choline BiTartrate – Choline is mostly used for either its cognitive boosting properties or as a liver health agent, able to reduce fatty liver buildup.

It may also be a stimulant although this is based on anecdote. Requires around 250-500mg per day for cognitive benefits.

Choline does not offer any significant benefits for aerobic capacity, fatigue or training capacity.

Russian Tarragon (artemisia dracunculus) – Influences plasma creatine levels during the ingestion of creatine monohydrate.

Further research is needed to evaluate the effects of Russian Tarragon on creatine uptake and retention in muscle.

Garcinia – During tests, no weight changes were observed on those fed Garginia extract.

Up to 4 pills per day. These are to be split in to two doses of two pills.

This would equate up to a strong 3250mg daily.

This dose is good considering the best fat burners tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best fat burner on the market.

This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.

Effects & Benefits:

Carnitine, when dosed adequately can increase insulin like growth hormone which helps toward increased muscle mass.

Otherwise is is good for bodily function and creating energy which can help you go for that 5am run. You mad bastard.

Choline Bitartrate can help with cognitive function. It does have to be dosed correctly though. It shouldn’t be dosed more than 500mg to be effective.

Carnitine is not actually a fat burning ingredient per se, it helps contribute to fat loss by giving you extra energy and can help you build more muscle but it isn’t a direct fat burning ingredient like Cayenne Pepper.

More lean muscle means that more calories are burned just maintaining it.

Choline Bitartrate is over double the dose required to be effective, thus making it null and void.

Garcinia is not proven to offer any weight management benefits.

Russian Tarragon is not proven to help with weight loss either.

On the whole, this fat burner is lacking further ingredients that are proven to stimulate fat burn.

Fat burner’s such as Instant Knockout contain 10 proven and effective ingredients, whereas this only includes five ingredients, one of those is not conclusive either and the other is under dosed to be optimal.

My Magnum Nutraceuticals Carne Diem Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

There’s only one ingredient included in this that can contribute to more fat loss.

Carnitine can help provide more energy for you to hit the gym or the running track. It can also help you build more muscle and more muscle mass means more calories burned while resting.

However, it lacks a number of additional proven ingredients that are found in other proven fat burners.

The remaining three ingredients are not going to assist with fat burn at all and Choline is too highly dosed to help with improved brain function.

Therefore, if you buy this fat burner you will end up supplementing it with additional supplements.

This is because it omits proven ingredients such as:

  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Caffeine
  • Green Coffee Extract
  • Chromium
  • Green Tea
  • Zinc B6
  • B12

Just buy one that contains everything.
