Men’s Health Labs Vit D3 Max – Will It Increase Testosterone Levels?

Men’s Health Labs Vit D3 Testosterone Booster First Look:

It was only a matter of time before Men’s Health started cashing in on the supplement biz.

Not content with regurgitating the same old tired articles on how to, ‘Add 2 inches to your arms in 6 weeks’ or ‘1 exercise to get a shredded six-pack’.

I guess it must be hard for a magazine publication to come up with new and exciting ideas when everything online can explode in a matter of hours whereby the time it is mentioned in the magazine it is old hat.

I have never really been a fan of Men’s Health, I always saw it as a poseur magazine. It’s a bit wet and lacks real substance.

I guess it is time to see whether their supplements are the same.

Ingredients:

Vitamin D is a great Testosterone boosting vitamin that must be taken advantage of to trigger further production of Testosterone in your body.

However, there are two types of Vitamin D. There’s calciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) – we are only interested in cholecalciferol which is D3; this is the type our skin synthesizes from the sun and becomes a hormone which results in the increases in our testosterone.

Research by the US Library of Medicine has shown that testosterone productions are increased with Vitamin D3 supplementation.

Dose:

We’re instructed to take 1 tablet per week! We prefer at least 4 spread across the day to evenly spread the nutrients out and prevent massive peaks and troughs. 4 tablets are the doses of our benchmark products. A daily serving works out at 800IU.

Effects:

Vitamin D3 has been hailed as a a wonder vitamin in recent years and one that many people are lacking.

As such sales of vitamin D3 products have soared and even governments are issuing advice to supplement your diet with D3 products or make sure we eat enough foods that are rich in D3.

Vitamin D3 is recognized as a key ingredient to increase testosterone production, assist with cognitive function, inhibit depression, improve the quality of life for asthma sufferer’s as well as help with injury prevention.

As a result it is found in many of the best testosterone booster’s. Most surprising though is how few testosterone booster products do not include D3.

Negatives:

Just one dose per week is incredibly weak.

This really does not hold its own against much stronger and more complete supplements which can be had for much less money.

There are products available such as Prime Male which not only offers 5000iu of D3 per day but Zinc, Magnesium, D-Aspartic Acid, B12, B6, Fenugreek etc which will work together to offer the strongest stimulation.

It does seem that, as with their magazines, you are paying a lot for very little content.

Men’s Health Labs Vit D3 Testosterone Booster Conclusion:

While Vitamin D3 is a great ingredient, it needs to be dosed more than it is here to be effective. A daily dose is required.

So will it increase testosterone?

There’s are many D3 supplements available and they can be effective, however, they are dosed significantly higher than this.

In addition, to really stimulate more testosterone production it needs to include the plethora of proven ingredients found in the best testosterone booster supplements on the market to provide any real world benefit.

Take a look at what works to maximize your workouts at a reasonable price conveniently and safely.

As it is, this will only benefit someone who lives in a windowless basement and never see’s the light of day.
