MuscleTech Hydroxycut CLA Plus Fat Burner Review

MuscleTech Hydroxycut CLA Plus Fat Burner Review

MuscleTech Hydroxycut CLA Plus Fat Burner Review First Look:

It’s another week and that could only mean that there is another product released by MuscleTech and available for all and sundry to buy.

The range offered by MuscleTech is overwhelming. The seem to release a slightly different version of every product 10 times over with little slight variations to the content.

If anything it is downright confusing and expensive.

So, to make matters worse they have introduced a further CLA based fat burner, you know, just to compliment the other CLA based fat burner MuscleTech already offers.

However, this one has hints of pink thus it must, must be targeting the female market.

Yet, looking at my current beach body I do need all the help I can get. I have let much slide, the workouts have diminished recently and I have lost size and also put on some fat where my stomach used to be.

I need to get my act together, because it is a lot hard trying to regain past glories than maintaining what you have.

So, I fear this product from MuscleTech will be the same as their other, similar product with a hint of gold as opposed to pink on the packaging.

Let’s find out for sure.

Ingredients

button-4Vitamin A – Vitamin A is key for good vision, a healthy immune system, and cell growth.

Vitamin D – A great Testosterone boosting vitamin that must be taken advantage of to trigger further production of Testosterone in your body.

However, there are two types of Vitamin D. There’s calciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) – we are only interested in cholecalciferol which is D3; this is the type our skin synthesizes from the sun and becomes a hormone which results in the increases in our testosterone.

Research by the US Library of Medicine has shown that testosterone productions are increased with Vitamin D3 supplementation.

Vitamin E – Humans in tests have shown to have low testosterone if they are deficient of Vitamin E.

Folic Acid (Vit. B9) – There’s many benefits of Folic Acid, treating kidney problems is one of them. Folic acid can also help produce more testosterone along with B12 but also necessary to form red blood cells and is also necessary in the formation of DNA.

Biotin – Biotin is an important component of enzymes in the body that break down certain substances like fats, carbohydrates, and others.

C. Canephora Robusta (Green Coffee Extract) – Evidence from research has indicated that the consumption of caffeinated coffee can lead to some reductions in long-term weight gain.

These weight loss results are likely to be due to the known thermogenic effects of the caffeine.

This is found in the best fat burners such as Instant Knockout.

Conjugated Linolenic Acid (CLA) – Initial reports and studies of CLA have showed that it helped a bunch of women who did no exercise lose 9% body fat.

However, further studies are showing very mixed, if not medicore results that aren’t really setting the world alight, in fact the side effects are having their presence felt moreso outweighing any real benefits.

Any benefits that were found meant that the composition had to be greater than 80%.

Dose:

We are instructed to take 2 softgels twice daily which equates to 2464.02mg.

This is a little less when compared with the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

Effects & Benefits:

If we break this down it is clear that only 2 ingredients here are concerned with cutting fat.

Further analysis of studies also show that only 1 of them is completely reliable. The CLA, while it has offered a good result seems to be patchy in respect of its performance.

However, it does seem odd that D3 and E is included. Theses are great ingredients more commonly found in the best testosterone boosters for their ability to help stimulate testosterone production.

That said, if you have a higher level of testosterone it does tend to help cut fat, so it is not useless in this application and many people are deficient in D3.

It is good to have A, Biotin and Folic for cell growth but they do not really contribute directly to fat loss.

Negatives:

I will not discredit both Vitamin D and E as they can be helpful for both men and women at losing fat plus improving mood and helping you develop muscle.

Yet, CLA is not quite the wonder ingredient it is often touted as. It is also important to note that in successful tests of CLA there has been an 80% composition, yet we do not know what the composition level is with this product.

That only leaves us with 1 ingredient that is proven to help reduce fat mass. That is disappointing.

MuscleTech Hydroxycut CLA Plus Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This really isn’t competitive as a fat burning supplement.

There’s 1 reliable fat burning ingredient in the form of C. Canephora Robusta, CLA may help, but the composition of which needs to be at least 80% is not disclosed.

The remaining ingredients are effective and will help but they’re not particularly fat busting ingredients.

As a result, this is no more effective than the alternative CLA from MuscleTech, it is, as ever, just another variation of ingredients to confuse us furthermore.

If you want a truly effective fat burner, you would be better using one of the supplements in our top 3.
