Rugby Star Jamie Roberts’ Big Breakfast // Could You Handle It?

Welsh Rugby, British & Irish Lions and Harlequins player Jamie Roberts takes his breakfast pretty seriously.

In fact, after just a cardio session a photo of Jamie’s breakfast went viral.

Weighing in at 242lbs/110kg, Jamie requires lots of healthy, nutritious food to ensure he doesn’t lose weight while pushing his cardiovascular system to the limit in preparation for his matches.

It comes as no surprise then to learn that Jamie’s breakfast alone comes in at approximately 2211 calories.

Jamie modestly plays this down and see’s it as a necessity to ensure peak physical condition.

However, it is not only his body that needs sustenance, his brain has been maxed too as he recently completed a sabbatical to complete a Master of Philosophy in medical science at the University of Cambridge.

However, previously to his Masters he graduated from Cardiff University School of Medicine after 8 years studying.

This allowed him to play for Cambridge University Rugby Team as well.

Upon finishing his degree he signed for Harlequins who are based in London and play in the English Premiership. It is rumored he is paid nearly £400,000 per year.

Over the course of his career, the 30 year old has scored 150 points, earned 76 caps for Welsh appearances and 3 for the British and Irish Lions.

He has played 194 professional games.
