Weider Prime Testosterone Support Review

Weider Prime Testosterone Support Review

Weider Prime Testosterone Support Review First Look

This looks the part, it looks professional, it has the brand and the famous Weider name behind it, there is without a shadow of a doubt that this will be good.

Weider would not sell shit to customers, there’s too much of a fan base and heritage at risk.

I love the package, it is informative like the packets of hemorrhoid suppositories you would get from a chemist and it has just the right font and color scheme to make this work.

Ingredients: The Science

51ctPXWFY0L

10 ingredients and 1180.33mg per daily serving.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 helps testosterone levels by stimulating androgen (a steroid hormone that acts as a precursor for testosterone) receptors in your body, making your testes produce testosterone.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6727359

Vitamin B12

Studies show that people who are anaemic tend not to have high levels of testosterone because they cannot absorb vitamin B12.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2645631/

Vitamin D3

Research by the US Library of Medicine has shown that testosterone productions are increased with Vitamin D3 supplementation.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3712348/

Chromium

Chromium supplements are promoted as being helpful in building muscle and burning fat and in helping the body use carbohydrates. But this has not been proved.

Calcium

Results show that training results in increased testosterone levels in athletes and that the increase is greater if accompanied by calcium supplementation.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19099204

However, a recent study has warned against calcium supplementation due to the increased risk of a heart attack.

DIM (Diindolylmethane)

Diindolylmethane appears to promote a healthy balance of testosterone in the body and is found in vegetables such as broccoli.

Zinc

An aphrodisiac and Testosterone Booster, but it will only raise testosterone levels if the user is deficient in zinc.

Zinc is also very important for the functioning of the enzyme, hormone, and immune systems.

In very high doses, zinc can act as an aromatase inhibitor and reduce estrogen levels.

It is also a potent antioxidant and can provide benefits for prostate issues.

Ashwaganda

Studies have shown that treatment with Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of LH among infertile men having sub-optimal testosterone levels.

It’s difficult to see if the same result would be found with guys who do not have any fertility issues.

So the question is, are you infertile? If you’ve been banging your missus (or even your mistress, we shouldn’t be even talking if you have smashed your sister) unprotected and have miraculously not had a sprog you probably are infertile…sorry to break that to you, bro.

BioPerine

The extract of piperine, called BioPerine®  in the patented form, has been clinically tested in the United States. BioPerine®  significantly enhances the bioavailability of various supplement nutrients through increased absorption.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9619120

Cordyceps

Evidence on tested rats to suggest this is a testosterone regulator rather than provide increases, however, only when injected as it has poor bio-availability.

Dose

Just 2 capsules a day which is not what we would consider an optimal dose, in fact, far from it.

It should be 4 capsules at least like what is recommended by our top 3 testosterone boosters. This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone.

Each daily servings consists of 1180.33mg which is pretty dire if we are being honest, especially from Weider.

Pros

You have 6 good, solid ingredients present and on this alone I am quite impressed.

It is not often you see this ingredient profile knocking around, in fact as you may tell from our many other reviews, it is damn hard to find anything containing any useful ingredients whatsoever.

However, Weider has not let the fans down by pilfering crap to generate an extra revenue stream in this regard.

Cons

I find it difficult to understand why they would include Chronium and Cordyceps.

The first is not proven to work despite all of the promoting around it and the second will only work via an injection and even then the half life is limited.

I can almost understand Ashwaganda, however the audience is limited somewhat by being only effective in sterile men and Bioperine to make the ingredients more bio-available.

What I do not understand is the reasoning for such a low daily dose and the lack of D-Aspartic Acid, if this was included alongside Fenugreek and Oyster in a dose that was nearly triple to this we would be onto a #1 spot contender.

Weider Prime Testosterone Support Review Conclusion

Based on the ingredient profile alone this is a good product, although not the best due to it missing a few vital ingredients.

However, what is really lacking is the actual content, at barely over 1000mg per day it really isn’t as effective as it could be.

The price set just below $30 reflects the product quite well, its not too expensive so do not expect too much to happen.

Take a look at what works to maximize your workouts.
