We all love bacon, right? Unless you’re a veggie or vegan or don’t like the taste of human flesh…it’s just a rumor, bro.
But, did you know how it is processed? Yeah, sometimes you forget that it goes through a vast array of processing stages. Far gone are the days when a pig would be butchered then strips of bacon smoked in the smoke house in the yard.
These days, the industrial process involves coloring and flavoring (with liquid smoke – da fuq?) the meat so it tastes smoked, it is injected with a curing solution, frozen, chilled, cooked and then microwaved – this is before it even reaches the store!
This aint healthy guys.
