Team Six Alpha Muscle XT Testosterone Booster Review

Team Six Alpha Muscle XT Testosterone Booster Review

My Alpha Muscle XT Testosterone Booster Review First Look

Let’s look a little more closely at this testosterone booster from Alpha Muscle XT.

When looking for a testosterone booster, as with anyone, we buy with our eyes.

It’s like ordering food.

If it looks good, we buy it.

And, what we may have liked the look of when were younger may not hold the same position now.

This test booster from Alpha muscle would probably appeal to a younger generation.

It’s dark and looks like it could give you mutant gains.

Someone slightly older, would probably be more attracted to something that could help maintain a healthy balance of testosterone for the overall health benefits.

That’s not to say I am not interested with what’s in the tub.

As men age, they often make less testosterone – [https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/understanding-how-testosterone-affects-men]

Can this T-Booster from Alpha Muscle hit the mark? Let’s look at their background…

Who are Alpha Muscle?

There’s not a great deal on information regarding Alpha Muscle online.

Their site merely points to Amazon where you can buy it.

That’s not a great start…

What Are the claims for Alpha Muscle XT?

Team Six claim that their testosterone booster called Alpha Muscle XT can do the following:

  • Complete male optimization
  • Break through plateaus

Alpha Muscle XT Ingredients: The Science

So, let’s list through each ingredient and look at the associated studies:

– Magnesium

Research into magnesium supplementation demonstrated an increase of natural testosterone production in men.

It can also help aid sleep for improved mental rest and muscle recovery.

Men who took magnesium had the biggest increase in total and free testosterone, another showed that a magnesium supplemented group had significantly greater gains in strength.

Extra magnesium is able to support your gym performance which can help increase fat loss

– Ashwagandha

Primarily found in test boosters because of its supposed benefits.

There is little evidence suggesting that Ashwagandha will directly increase testosterone levels.

Ashwagandha is able to reduce stress and fatigue which can have a negative effect on testicular health.

An effective dose is around 6g per day. [1]

– Zinc

Needed for many reactions in the brain and a key component for releasing the luteinzing hormone (LH).

LH is primarily responsible for the production of testosterone and growth hormone.

The fact that it’s in here is great, there’s plenty of studies proving its worth.

Science has demonstrated that those people who exercise regularly and intensely are more likely to have an insufficient level of Zinc.

– Eurycoma Longifolia (Longjack, Tongkat Ali)

There are some claims that Longjack will increase testosterone levels.

Yet, there is very little evidence surrounding the claims.

There’s no human studies available proving that Longjack is effective when taken orally.

However, the most positive outcome from studies of Tongkat Ali is that it can help reduce day-to-day stress.

– DIM (Diindolylmethane)

Diindolylmethane appears to promote a healthy balance of testosterone in the body and is found in vegetables such as broccoli.

Cruciferous vegetables which contain high levels of DIM such as broccoli are eaten by many professional athletes such as rugby league players for their benefits.

We have researched more about the studies concerning testosterone boosters which include estrogen blocking ingredients.

– 5 alpha Hydroxy Laxogenin

5-Hydroxy Laxogenin was discovered by an American scientist in 1996.

It was shown to possess an anabolic/androgenic ratio similar to one of the most efficient anabolic substances, in particular Anavar but without the side effects of liver toxicity or testing positive for steroidal therapy.

Until now there’s only one animal study about the function of 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin. This is an old Russian research paper.

It is shown that 6-ketoderivatives of natural sapogenins display the anabolic activity and do not manifest any androgenic properties.

The compound 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin produces an accelerated gain of weight in rats, and also an increase in the weight of the liver, heart, kidneys.[2]

– Black Tea (Camellia sinensis)

Drinking black tea and other caffeinated beverages throughout the day helps to keep people alert, even after extended periods without sleep. [3]

How To Take Alpha Muscle XT

We are to take two capsules per day.

Although there are no instructions on their site on how and when to take the capsules.

We would advise that it is better to spread the dose out over the course of the day.

This ensures our body has a constant supply of nutrients to work with.

This will prevent peaks and troughs.

If you supply your body with lots of the same nutrients at once it will pass what is not required.

Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.

It is better to have a continued trickle effect.

Alpha Muscle XT Dosage

A daily dose is 800mg per two caps.

This dose is less than a third of what you would find in the best natural testosterone boosters which will consist of around 3000mg or more.

Alpha Muscle XT Price

$47.49 – that’s getting pricey.

Pros

Things look quite positive.

Five of the seven ingredients look to offer some benefit.

They may not all directly influence extra testosterone secretion but can help improve overall health and energy.

Zinc and Magnesium both have a positive impact on testosterone levels.

These two ingredients are found in the best performing test boosters due to their effectiveness.

Then there’s DIM.

DIM helps regulate estrogen levels. If we have too much estrogen it will have a negative impact on testosterone production.

Ashwagandha and Eurycoma both appear to help relieve stress. If your stress levels are too high this can result in less testosterone.

Camellia Sinensis is essentially black tea. This can help you stay alert.

A bit strange to include in a testosterone booster supplement. May be Team Six are just trying to mimic the feelings of higher test levels.

Cons

The daily dose is low.

Much lower than many other natural testosterone boosters which are proven to work.

There’s also a lack of proven ingredients that are known to increase testosterone levels.

This relies too heavily on ingredients to help protect current test levels.

Then there’s the Laxosterone which seems to have very little thorough and reputable research behind it.

Overall, it is missing too many key ingredients.

Unwanted Alpha Muscle XT Side Effects

There’s a few side effects.

Ashwagandha appears to cause a few potential complications.

These include:

  • Blood pressure changes
  • Irritation of the gastrointestinal tract
  • Slow the central nervous system
  • Upset a current thyroid issue

What Improvements Could Be Made to Alpha Muscle XT?

There are plenty of other proven and effective nutrients available that can increase testosterone stimulation.

Look at the ingredients listed below which would be of benefit:

Some of these proven ingredients are included in the best testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel.

Alpha Muscle XT Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion

This is lacking too many proven ingredients.

Overall this offers a low number of ingredients and a low dose.

That’s not too positive.

Then there’s more ingredients that are designed to prevent test dropping rather than including ingredients that can also stimulate more testosterone growth.

The price for so little benefit is high, too.

Any final words for this review..?

This needs more proven test boosting ingredients and higher dose to be truly effective.

Alpha Muscle XT Rivals

Let’s see what other best rated natural testosterone booster supplements are pitched against Alpha Muscle XT.

Prime Male

It is hard not to make a good case for Prime Male because it is so effective due to its large number of proven and distinctly well regarded ingredient profile.

Prime Male has been proven to help increase natural testosterone levels and is backed by some great figures from the world of sport and film.

Developed with the older man in mind, it is still useful for all ages, and women.

CONS

  • The dose of D-Aspartic Acid would benefit from being higher

TestRX has also been on the scene for a good number of years, this longevity is a reflection of the powerful ingredients included.

It’s only reason for a lower score is the lower number of ingredients included.

CONS

  • Fewer number of total ingredients included per dose

    1. Hi Miguel,

Thanks for your feedback. To be honest it would take more than just one bottle, a test booster needs to be taken daily. Realistically, unless you are taking steroids or are new to training you wouldn’t notice a great deal of difference in one month alone.
