My Grenade AT4 Advanced Natural Testosterone Booster Review

My Grenade AT4 Advanced Natural Testosterone Booster Review

My Grenade AT4 Advanced Natural Testosterone Booster Review First Look:

I hit the gym yesterday evening after a weekend and the week earlier filled with booze and eating.

I was not feeling particularly well in the couple of weeks prior to this and I had to hold off on the weights.

This meant that basically for the previous  three weeks or so I have not been progressing with my lifts.

Training either paused or was very fragmented.

So, when I returned to the gym yesterday I had to lower my weights and I found it a struggle to lift what I was doing a mere few weeks before.

All of this drinking and holiday partying had taken its toll and I hadn’t been supplementing properly either.

This has most likely taken its toll on my testosterone levels, which are most likely reduced.

What a reduction in testosterone means is:

  • Loss of muscle mass
  • Loss of strength
  • Increased risk of osteoporosis
  • A change in mood and outlook on life
  • Irratibility
  • Increase of fat mass
  • Cardiovascular health risks
  • Reduced energy levels
  • Loss of libido

There are some way to combat this, and resistance training or weightlifting is helpful, particularly if compound exercises are employed, hence my love for them and eagerness not to let my training schedule slip.

However, recently, I have not really hit the deadlifts, although they are on the cards tonight.

You can also incorporate a testosterone booster supplement in to your lifestyle as I did when I started to notice the beginnings of a change when I hit 32 years of age…I’m now approaching 34.

Seeing as I am passionate about weight lifting and trying to increase my strength it is of a double concern that my testosterone levels are maintained at a high level.

As such, I normally use TestoFuel because it contains nine proven ingredients that are able to stimulate more testosterone production.

However, this time, I wanted to see what else is available to maximize my results and workload, I noticed this is a big seller on Amazon, so I wanted to see what is behind the hype.

Ingredients: The Science

Passiflora Caerulea (Passionflower) – At best this seems to prevent or at least alleviate the symptoms of anxiety and insomnia.

If you are not getting any sleep, you are not releasing growth hormone.

Vitamin D – D3 is a great Testosterone boosting vitamin that must be taken advantage of to trigger further production of Testosterone in your body.

However, there are two types of Vitamin D. There’s calciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) – we are only interested in cholecalciferol which is D3; this is the type our skin synthesizes from the sun and becomes a hormone which results in the increases in our testosterone.

Research by the US Library of Medicine has shown that testosterone productions are increased with Vitamin D3 supplementation.

There’s a plenty of articles I have written covering the benefits of D3 you can read about, herehere and here.

D-Aspartate, DAA – D-aspartic acid is one of two forms of the amino acid aspartic acid. The other form is L-aspartate. The benefits of D-AA are specific to it, and do not extend to aspartic acid or L-aspartate. D-AA can be used as a testosterone booster for infertile men, and by athletes as a temporary booster.

D-AA works in the central brain region to cause a release of hormones, such as luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and growth hormone. Importantly, unlike some pro-hormones and steroids, it does not raise estrogen levels.

A dose of 2000-3000mg is required.

DAA is found in the most effective and beneficial testosterone boosters.

You can read more in to the benefits of D-Aspartic Acid supplementation, here.

Fenugreek – Fenugreek is a proven ingredient as found in our benchmark testosterone boosting product; Testofuel.

Research shows that a fenugreek seed extract can reduce daily fat intake in overweight men when taken by mouth at a dose of 392 mg three times daily for 2-6 weeks.

Boron – Boron is great for the older lifter or those doing high weight low rep work as it helps to reduce inflammation, something that is found in PrimeMale, which I am a fan of.

Also helps raise testosterone levels.

Dose:

The daily dose is 6 tablets per day.

It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best testosterone booster on the market.

This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.

A daily serving is a bit more than what we are accustomed to with just over 3877mg per day.

This is just over than what is included in the top rated products such as Prime Male.

Effects & Benefits:

In this supplement there are a collection of just five ingredients, four of which that are considered beneficial with concrete proof..

DAA, D3, Fenugreek and Boron are found in the best testosterone boosters.

This is because they have proven to help stimulate testosterone production in trials and research.

We have Passionflower too, this is not quite as conclusive.

It seems to helps reduce the symptoms of insomnia and anxiety.

Your natural growth hormone is released when you sleep, so if you do not sleep, you are not getting that recovery time or that release of testosterone.

Negatives:

Having just 5 total ingredients is not the highest amount of ingredients to be found in a testosterone booster.

That is not particularly impressive, not when you consider the premium and effective testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel contain 9 proven ingredients.

Plus, it does seem that Passionflower is not exactly a direct stimulator of testosterone. Sure it may be able to help those with anxiety or trouble sleepng, but if you do  not suffer from that I would rather have Zinc.

That’s the other problem, it does miss the basics such as Zinc, B6 and Magnesium which are found in ZMA supplements which form the basis of an effective testosterone booster.

This makes products like TestoFuel more convenient and overall, better value.

My Grenade AT4 Advanced Natural Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:

As already mentioned I regularly use TestoFuel which includes 9 effective and proven testosterone boosting ingredients….it is not on it’s own though, you can check out other competent testosterone boosters, here.

This does offer four excellent ingredients to help increase testosterone production and it also offers a further one for those who may have trouble sleeping properly.

However, it also omits many other useful and proven ingredients that are found in better testosterone booster supplements such as:

  • Zinc
  • B6
  • Magnesium
  • Oyster
  • B12
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin K2
  • Vitamin E

For me, TestoFuel has provided some great, noticeable results.

Mainly my strength and muscular definition has increased not to mention my overall mood.

Take a look at what works to maximize your workouts.
