Paleo Life Testosterone Savage Review
My Paleo Life Testosterone Savage Review First Look
I’ve got a long, constant uphill cycle home.
That is not a metaphor. It is literally my bike ride home.
However, after a good gym session over lunch and with nice weather I am almost looking forward to the hard ride and a good shower when I get home.
Especially as we’ll be heading out for food later in the evening.
However, I use a testosterone booster to aid my recovery and ensure I have plenty of energy.
Otherwise, being over the age of 30, the easy option would be to drive, get on a train or bus.
This sedentary lifestyle would then contribute to the lowering of testosterone.
This natural testosterone booster fro Paleo Life looks clean, simple and honest.
However, it is the ingredient profile which speaks the honest truth.
As men age, they often make less testosterone – [https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/understanding-how-testosterone-affects-men]

Paleo Life Testosterone Savage Ingredients: The Science
So, let’s list through each ingredient and look at the associated studies:
– Rosemary Extract
I am quite confused by this being included.
It may help with a few things such as hair growth stimulation, muscle soreness, indigestion and cognitive function.
However, the studies or lack of, are all a bit inconclusive. [1]
– Zinc
Needed for many reactions in the brain and a key component for releasing the luteinzing hormone (LH).
LH is primarily responsible for the production of testosterone and growth hormone.
The fact that it’s in here is great, there’s plenty of studies proving its worth.
Science has demonstrated that those people who exercise regularly and intensely are more likely to have an insufficient level of Zinc.
– Selenium
There isn’t any conclusive proof even when supplemented with Zinc that selenium increases testosterone levels. [2]
– Boron
In a study concerning men who took 10mg of Boron a day they saw their estrogen levels drop and their free testosterone rise.
Boron is a mineral which also helps improve bone and joint health which is important to be able to lift weights and keep an active lifestyle.
This demonstrates the importance to supplement with boron in order to harmonise your hormone levels.
– Tribulus Terrestris
The many tests on Tribulus have found no increases in testosterone levels.
It has failed to increase natural testosterone levels. Research shows that it does not increase physical performance. [3] [4] [5]
– Fenugreek Seed
It is claimed by researchers that fenugreek works to increase testosterone or androgen levels, which decrease as you age.
Further research also shows that fenugreek seed extract is able to reduce the daily fat intake in overweight males if taken orally at a dose of 392mg three times daily for two to six weeks.
So, to include Fenugreek in your supplement allowance is advised.
– DIM (Diindolylmethane)
Diindolylmethane appears to promote a healthy balance of testosterone in the body and is found in vegetables such as broccoli.
Cruciferous vegetables which contain high levels of DIM such as broccoli are eaten by many professional athletes such as rugby league players for their benefits. [6]
– Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 helps testosterone levels by stimulating androgen (a steroid hormone that acts as a precursor for testosterone) receptors in your body, making your testes produce testosterone.
When we looked through the scientific studies relating to B6 and testosterone we were really impressed.
A deficiency in B6 can lead to numerous issues including: low energy, muscle weakness, heart disease and confusion.
– Mucuna Pruriens
These seeds not only reactivates the anti-oxidant defence system of infertile men but it also helps in the management of stress and improves semen quality! [7]
– Magnesium
Research into magnesium supplementation demonstrated an increase of natural testosterone production in men.
It can also help aid sleep for improved mental rest and muscle recovery.
Men who took magnesium had the biggest increase in total and free testosterone, another showed that a magnesium supplemented group had significantly greater gains in strength.
Extra magnesium is able to support your gym performance which can help increase fat loss.
– Chastetree Berry (Vitex Agnus Castus)
This is a bit of a strange inclusion, monks used it to prevent sexual urges, it can be used to relieve PMT by women and may, just may help towards an enlarged prostate, but really? Really? Clutching at straws… [8]
How To Take Testosterone Savage
We are to take two capsules per day.
Although there are no instructions on their site on how and when to take the capsules.
We would advise that it is better to spread the dose out over the course of the day.
This ensures our body has a constant supply of nutrients to work with.
This will prevent peaks and troughs.
If you supply your body with lots of the same nutrients at once it will pass what is not required.
Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.
It is better to have a continued trickle effect.
Testosterone Savage Dosage
A daily dose is 1,060mg.
This dose is about a third of what yoo would find in the best natural testosterone boosters which will consist of around 3000mg or more.
Testosterone Savage Price
$39.50
Pros
This does contain some well regarded ingredients.
There are five ingredients present which are commonly found in the best testosterone booster supplement due to their supporting scientific studies.
These include:
- Zinc
- Magnesium
- Fenugreek
- Boron
- B6
Then there’s DIM and Mucuna Pruriens which do not directly stimulate more testosterone development but help reduce stress, regulate estrogen and the latter improves sperm quality.
Too much stress can result in a drop of testosterone and too much estrogen creates an unwanted hormone balance.
Cons
There’s a few odd included ingredients.
Vitex Agnus was once used by monks to control sexual urges. That is the opposite of what we want from a testosterone booster.
However, Vitex does not have any scientific evidence that would suggest it can increase testosterone stimulation.
This is very much the same story for Selenium and Rosemary.
Plus there’s some real big hitting ingredients that are missing which are just obvious, such as D3 and D-Aspartic Acid.
Some of these ingredients also fall within a proprietary blend which hides the amounts included.
Unwanted Testosterone Savage Side Effects
A couple of the ingredients could pose potential health risks.
Selenium can increase the risk of developing diabetes. It can also cause Selenium toxicity in high doses (400mcg+).
Another cause for alarm is that it may cause infertility issues in men and increase the risk of skin cancer!
Rosemary can increase the risk of seizures if you suffer from them. It can produce similar effects to aspirin, so if you are allergic to aspirin do not use supplements containing Rosemary.
If you are seeking therapy for a mental disorder do not use any supplements that contain Vitex Agnus as it can affect dopamine release.

What Improvements Could Be Made to Testosterone Savage?
Three ingredients should be removed.
Vitex, Selenium and Rosemary should be taken out of this supplement and replaced with safe and effective testosterone stimulating ingredients.
There are five well established and proven ingredients that have a positive effect on natural testosterone production.
Look at the ingredients listed below which would be of benefit if included:
- B12
- Vit. C
- Oyster
- D3
- Ginseng
- Creatine
- K2
- D-Aspartic Acid
Some of these proven ingredients are included in the best testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel.
My Paleo Life Testosterone Savage Review Conclusion
There’s some contradiction here.
Macuna Pruriens can help with sperm mobility and quality, yet Selenium can do the opposite and cause fertility problems.
That just does not stack up.
And, while there are five beneficial ingredients these are overshadowed by three potentially dangerous ingredients that can cause a number of unwanted health issues.
Part of this ingredient profile also falls within a proprietary blend.
Any final words for this review..?
It would have been far beneficial if more proven ingredients were included instead of risking health issues.
Thus, you should check out the better options, here.
