My PH.375 Vegan Fat Burner Review

My PH.375 Vegan Fat Burner Review

My PH.375 Vegan Fat Burner Review First Look:

I’m cycling home tonight for a 9 mile continuous uphill gradient.

Not what I would prefer to be doing on a Friday night, but needs must.

I am on a daytime drinking session tomorrow with my buddies and I want to ensure I am getting my cardio in as well as some weights tonight before I wreck myself with booze and food.

I also have a couple of beach vacations lined up too, so I do not want to be that jiggly one on the beach, not least the most jiggly anyway.

I lift heavy, so I want to be able to show a bit of hard won muscle.

I have used a fat burner called Instant Knockout in the past, and still do to ensure I do not buckle my bicycle wheels.

However, I like to go off piste sometimes and see what else in the arena of sports nutrition can help.

I am also interested to see what products people are buying or interested in to see just how effective they really are and if the popularity is just a case of good marketing techniques.

Ingredients: The Science

Calcium – Results show that training results in increased testosterone levels in athletes and that the increase is greater if accompanied by calcium supplementation.

There’s also the theory that Calcium supplementation is associated with weight loss, but this is not supported by evidence.

Calcium supplements are also known to increase artery plaque which in the long term can cause cardiovascular problems.

Read more about that, here.

Cardoon (Cynara cardunculus, artichoke) – This Artichoke extract appears to reduce cholesterol and improve fat digestion, a very limited ability to assist with erectile dysfunction.

Caffeine – This can assist with endurance, tested athletes saw an edge from caffeine in scientific studies.

In some trials, the stimulant boosted athletes’ speed.

In others, it helped them last longer before they spent all their energy.

Caffeine also raises the metabolism which means you burn more calories. Some studies show that it can curb soreness after exercise, too.

This means you could get back to your training sooner and training means more calories burnt. This is present in all 3 of our Top Fat Burners.

Chromium – Chromium supplements are promoted as being helpful in building muscle and burning fat and in helping the body use carbohydrates.

Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium) – At present, Citrus aurantium may be the best thermogenic substitute for ephedra.

However, more studies are needed to establish this definitively.

Bitter orange is possibly unsafe when taken as a supplement for a medical purpose such as weight loss.

Bitter orange, particularly when taken with stimulants such as caffeine or caffeine-containing herbs, increases the risk for high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, stroke, and other severe side effects.

There are reports that bitter orange can trigger headaches, including migraine and cluster headaches, in some people.

Bitter orange can cause sensitivity to the sun.

Wear sunblock outside, especially if you are light-skinned.

Forslean (Coleus forskohlii) – Forskolin is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Plectranthus barbatus.

This plant has been used since ancient times to treat heart disorders such as high blood pressure and chest pain (angina), as well as respiratory disorders such as asthma, it can also assist with reducing fat mass in obese people.

However, no reliable scientific information that shows Coleus forskohlii extracts taken by mouth are effective.

Carnitine – Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy.

It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes.

Men who were supplemented 2g per day showed an increase of Insulin like growth hormone when combined with exercise.

Very limited evidence to suggest any fat loss unless you are an elderly person.

Capsicum (Cayenne) – Known to boost metabolism, cayenne causes the body to produce extra heat and burn more calories for fuel.

This is found in our favorite fat burner Instant Knockout.

Dose:

Take 1 pill per day which amounts to a lackluster 875.125mg.

We would suggest using supplements that offer four or more pills to spread throughout the day ensuring that your body has a constant trickle of the nutrients as per the best fat burners.

However, at under 900mg per day, this is a much lower daily dose when compared to some of the better fat cutting supplements.

Effects and Benefits:

There’s five reliable and safe fat burning ingredients found in this fat cutting supplement.

This is promising, however, fewer that the most effective fat burners though.

However, these effective ingredients will help with increasing the metabolism.

Carnitine will help produce energy so you can hit that spin class.

Artichoke extract is not often found in many fat cutter supplements, yet, it does seem to encourage fat digestion and reduce cholesterol.

There’s the stimulatory benefits of Caffeine which also raises body temperature along with Cayenne, in turn this burns additional calories.

This is also vegan friendly…not that many supplements are.

Negatives:

This is a low dosed supplement, especially when compared to other fat burners.

This is also a proprietary blend.

However, then it is the inclusion of ingredients that have no body of proof to confirm that they will assist us in our journey to lose weight such as Coleus and Calcium.

To much and continued Calcium supplementation can also cause a build up of artery plaque over time.

Citrus Aurantium is a popular inclusion with fat burner supplements but it can potentially be harmful.

Yet, further ingredients that would have been beneficial are not included such as:

  • Zinc
  • B vitamins
  • Green Tea
  • Glucomannan
  • Green Coffee Extract

Without the thermogenic effects offered by certain ingredients which can raise the body temperature which in turn increases calorie expenditure.

My PH.375 Vegan Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This fat cutting supplement does include five proven and effective ingredients able to help reduce fat levels.

However, it is also a proprietary blend coupled with a low overall daily dose.

This is not what we want to see.

We want a bigger load and transparency so we can see the distribution per ingredient.

This also misses out on a number of other proven ingredients that should really be included for maximum effect.

As a result, if this had a clear and open breakdown per ingredient and a higher dose with some extra additional proven ingredients it would not be too bad.

However, as it is, this product really is not as competitive nor as effective for your fat loss plan than those we have placed in our top 3 fat burner selection.
