Swisse Ultiplus Weight Control Fat Burner Review

Swisse Ultiplus Weight Control Fat Burner Review First Look:

Hit the gym last night and increased the weight I was benching, shoulder press, back and shrugs.

I didn’t feel great on the deadlifts though, not sure why to be honest other than I cycled like a manic on my way home from work.

The old stumps were probably worn out.

However, overall it felt good and it feels good now. I’ve got that lovely ache.

Then, just before bed I was wandering around my house naked (my fucking house, I’ll do what I want) and caught my reflection in the mirror (okay this was a pose) and noticed how much my abdominal muscles were protruding.

Elated I took a picture and sent it to my missus.

The response was favorable, thankfully.

Now, I put this progress down to a number of factors.

Since moving much closer to work it now means I am less tired, less stressed, I now cycle to work rather than sat in a car for hours at a time and I am eating better.

I also regularly take Instant Knockout which still maintains its position as being the best fat burner I have used, and no doubt this addition to my recent lifestyle changes has help wondrously.

Just to give you a bit of a comparison, I used to live in London, I would lift weight, eat quite clean and cycle to work. However, my abs would barely be visible. There would be lines but no contours or whereby they protrude.

This was before I would use a fat burner supplement. So essentially they give you that additional edge (quite literally) to just stimulate more calories being burnt.

I was walking through the grocery store last night to buy some logs for the fire because this summer has been anything but warm and prosseco, because obviously, I fucking love bubbles to get drunk on.

As I walked through the store I noticed this fat burner that I hadn’t seen before and thought it looked interesting so bought it.

Why did I think it looked interesting?

Well it seemed to look almost like a head lice treatment and a hair dye, not particularly like a fat burner.

Clearly, a motivator to buy it.

Glucomannan – This is a soluble, fermentable, and highly viscous dietary fiber derived from the root of the elephant yam or konjac plant, which is native to Asia.

Preliminary evidence suggests that Glucomannan can promote weight loss.

Zinc – A study in 2013 showed that people suffering from obesity had low levels of Zinc. Also, if you are deficient in Zinc it means you cannot absorb the nutrients from your food in the intestine.

GTF Chronium –  Research suggests that chromium might improve weight loss in some people who are overweight or obese.

9 pills per day. That is massive!

Especially when you consider at present I am already taking 5 other pills daily to increase my natural testosterone levels.

We prefer around 4 pills spread out across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process. This is also quite manageable.

Even at 9 pills daily, this is barely over 3012mg. Which makes me wonder what they put in all of the pills apart from bitter inconvenience.

This dose is about the same of the supplements we come across and compares well with the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

Effects & Benefits:

All three of these ingredients are commonly found in the top 3 fat burners we have trialed and reviewed.

All are proven to help with weight loss, this is great.

However, not all is great…

There’s just three ingredients present.

Now, they may be good, they may be effective but it leaves a hole when you consider Instant Knockout not only has these three ingredients but it has a further seven to help even more.

This, then, from Swisse, has essentially a rather large handicap regardless of the potential.

It has sold itself short, especially when you consider that we also need to take 9 pills per day for these three ingredients.

Swisse Ultiplus Weight Control Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This can help you lose weight, yet, you will probably want to use an additional supplement to create a more complete ingredient profile to provide better results which sort of defeats the object.

Consider taking 9 pills per day, then a further 2, 3 or even 4 when it can all be covered by just 1 fat burner supplement.

So, while I am not entirely discounting this, it is just lacking too many other ingredients that would make it a much better purchase.

Look for products with the below:

  • B12
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Caffeine
  • Green Tea
  • Green Coffee
  • B6
  • Magnesium
