Dragon Pharma Cycle Reset Post Cycle Therapy Testosterone Booster Review

Dragon Pharma Cycle Reset Post Cycle Therapy Testosterone Booster Review

My Dragon Pharma Cycle Reset PCT Testosterone Booster First Look:

PCT supplements are hitting a wave of popularity especially as it seems every guy on social media seems to be a steroid user.

The idea is that once your cycle of steroids ends, you supplement your diet with a PCT which will stimulate your natural testosterone which had been switched off as your body recognized the overload of synthetic testosterone that you had pumped in your body.

What a PCT essentially is, is a testosterone booster but repackaged and therefore reaches out to a wider audience and thus means increased sales.

However, it needs to be effective.

Ingredients: The Science

5 alpha Hydroxy Laxogenin – 5-Hydroxy Laxogenin was discovered by an American scientist in 1996. It was shown to possess an anabolic/androgenic ratio similar to one of the most efficient anabolic substances, in particular Anavar but without the side effects of liver toxicity or testing positive for steroidal therapy.

Until now there’s only one animal study about the function of 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin. This is an old Russian research. It is shown that 6-ketoderivatives of natural sapogenins display the anabolic activity and do not manifest any androgenic properties. The compound 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin produces an accelerated gain of weight in rats, and also an increase in the weight of the liver, heart, kidneys.

However, I can find no credible studies or journals on the subject.

Saw Palmetto – this fatty acid was long touted to help boost testosterone levels, but those claims turned out to be false. It is effective in suppressing prostate growth though. So could help if you are taking steroids or Prohormones.

Tribulus – The problem is that because Tribulus has been touted about for so long as a bit of a miracle plant extract used by the mysterious Eastern Bloc Olympic Athletes during the Cold War people have started to believe the hype and it is an easily recognizable ingredient the ill informed will have heard about down the gym.  The issue is that it has not been scientifically proven to raise testosterone levels in any shape or form.

Avoid like a medieval plague if you are looking for muscular gainz.

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine – Great for people with liver, heart and kidney problems but no evidence for boosting testosterone.

Androst 3,5-dien-7, 17-dione – Theoretically may be able to increase testosterone levels. However, as no human or animal interventions have been conducted with Androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione we don’t actually know.

Dose:

We are instructed to take up to 2 pills daily which is lackluster.

It would be best just to take 4 daily from the start to ensure your body gets a constant source of nutrients to stimulate testosterone production as with the best testosterone boosters.

A daily dose of 2 pills is a mediocre 1195mg.

Pros:

Okay, not very promising overall.

There are elements here which are great for the body post steroids/prohormones.

One of the possible side effects from steorids/prohormones is prostate growth which is more common with men as they age. Potentially prostate growth can lead to very few real world implications but can affect your bladder and passing urine. So it is reassuring to see Saw Palmetto present in a PCT.

The other is N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, this is good for liver, heart and kidney health. Again, steroid/prohormones can place pressure on your liver if they are methylated.

This leaves us with 3 further ingredients. However, not one has any real world evidence or scientific studies qualifying their effectiveness. That means we are not really sure if it can offer you any benefits.

So that begs the question, would you buy a product that may or may not work? Would you buy a rain jacket for that trip away to the Amazon based on chance that it would keep you dry?

Cons:

It is worth mentioning that in our top 3 rated testosterone boosters they have around 8 solid ingredients which all have proof backing their usefulness and it is the same with fat burner’s too.

This may offer benefits but as it is not entirely proven through scientific studies and tests we cannot be so sure.

There’s also the added insult of Tribulus making an appearance.

While at $89.99 per bottle for 1 month supply they’ve got you stitched up along with Blackstone Labs’ PCT which is exactly the same product.

Dragon Pharma Cycle Reset PCT Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:

I am very disappointed over the lack of real testosterone boosting ingredients available with this product. Especially key ones such as Fenugreek, D-Aspartic Acid, B12, Zinc and B6 to name a few.

Not only that the daily dose is sub optimal, it is expensive and a carbon copy of another product from a different manufacturer and that didn’t score highly either.

Maximize your workouts and help your body effectively recover from a steroid cycle by taking a look at supplements that can be used year round to increase testosterone levels, naturally.
