My Total Nutrition Technology TESTOCRINE Testosterone Booster Review First Look

It is no secret that when guys age they start to feel more lethargic and lose an interest in physical activity, and low testosterone is the culprit.

This can lead to unwanted fat gains and a loss of muscle.

Other issues men face when they start to age is a loss of libido or erectile dysfunction. This can lead to depression.

However, this is completely natural. Many guys notice these effects from as early as thirty.

As men age, they often make less testosterone – [https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/understanding-how-testosterone-affects-men]

However, it does not have to be like this…

Well formulated test boosters can elevate testosterone levels.

A lack of testosterone can create a whole number of health issues, not just screwing up your bench press.

The key to more muscle, better sexual function and overall health is more testosterone.

But modern research shows us that testosterone is beneficial for more than just muscle building.

It is important that men actually maintain a high and healthy level of testosterone.

That is because men suffer from the male version of the menopause, it is called the andropause.

The menopause effects women differently to men.

Changes relating to Andropause happen over a much longer period of time. This makes it almost unnoticeable

That is not to say the effects are not as dire…

A reduction in testosterone can lead to the following problems:

  • Loss of muscle mass
  • Loss of strength
  • Increased risk of osteoporosis
  • A change in mood and outlook on life
  • Irritability
  • Increase of fat mass
  • Reduced energy levels
  • Loss of libido

That means your health and fitness levels can suffer.

Thus, it is key you keep your natural testosterone at a healthy and optimal level.

Do not think natural test boosters are for bodybuilders and gym freaks, men of all ages can benefit.

However, if you are still looking to pack on slabs of lean muscle mass, the safe route is with a proven test booster supplement.

Can Testocrine hit the mark? Let’s look at their background.

Who Are Total Nutrition Technology?

I have researched online and cannot find a great deal of information about Total Nutrition Technology.

The best result was a dietitian lab in Charlotte which is totally unrelated to this product.

What’s the science behind natural testosterone boosters?

There are many ingredients available with scientific studies proving they can stimulate testosterone.

These ingredients are not synthetic, either…

We are talking about vitamins such as Vitamin C or Vitamin D.

Mineral such as Magnesium and Zinc have proof that they produce more testosterone.

Studies show that if you lack these minerals your testosterone will be low.

An effective testosterone booster contains a variety of natural and proven ingredients.

This combination of ingredients will stimulate testosterone production.

When you look for a testosterone booster make sure of the below points.

  • No proprietary blends
  • Adequate doses
  • All natural ingredients

Testocrine Ingredients: The Science

So, let’s list through each ingredient and look at the associated studies:

– D-Aspartic Acid, DAA

D-aspartic acid is one of two forms of the amino acid aspartic acid.

The other form is L-aspartate. The benefits of D-AA are specific to it, and do not extend to aspartic acid or L-aspartate.

D-AA can be used as a testosterone booster for infertile men, and by athletes as a booster.

D-AA works in the central brain region to cause a release of hormones.

Such as luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and growth hormone.

Importantly, unlike some pro-hormones and steroids, it does not raise estrogen levels which can result in gyno or puffy nipples. [1] [1]

A dose of 2000-3000mg is required daily.

DAA is found in the most effective and beneficial testosterone boosters.

You can read more in to the benefits of D-Aspartic Acid supplementation, here.

– Zinc

A 2006 study examined the testosterone levels of elite athletes (wrestlers) who had supplemented with a daily supplemental dose of zinc for one month.

They had significantly higher testosterone (and thyroid) levels, compared to a placebo group who saw a reduction in free testosterone. [3]

There’s plenty of available research and studies regarding the benefits of Zinc.

– Vitamin D

D3 is a great Testosterone boosting vitamin that must be taken advantage of to trigger further production of Testosterone in your body.

Not only is Vitamin D3 a great testosterone boosting ingredients it is also good for healthy heart function.

A 5 year study by the University of Leeds in the UK found startling improvements in the pumping ability of the patients (suffering heart failure) who were being administered vitamin D3.

It is also good to note that vitamin D3 is more effective that the synthetic D2 which is available and sometimes turns up in some lower grade testosterone boosters. [4]

Research by the US Library of Medicine has shown that testosterone productions are increased with Vitamin D3 supplementation. [5]

There’s a plenty of articles I have written covering the benefits of D3 you can read about, herehere and here.

– Tribulus Terrestris

The many tests on Tribulus have found no increases in testosterone levels.

It has failed to increase natural testosterone levels. Research shows that it does not increase physical performance. [6] [7] [8]

– DIM (Diindolylmethane)

Diindolylmethane appears to promote a healthy balance of testosterone in the body and is found in vegetables such as broccoli.

Cruciferous vegetables which contain high levels of DIM such as broccoli are eaten by many professional athletes such as rugby league players for their benefits. [9]

– Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)

This is a hormone produced by the body’s adrenal glands. The body uses DHEA to make androgens and estrogens, the male and female sex hormones.

DHEA levels peak at about age 25, then go down steadily as you get older.

By the time people are 70 to 80 years old, their DHEA levels are only 10% to 20% those in young adults. [10]

However, there is little evidence to show that DHEA has any effect on enhancing muscle strength. [11] [12]

How To Take Testocrine

This recommends that we take six tablets daily.

In two doses of three.

It is better to spread the dose out over the course of the day.

This ensures our body has a constant supply of nutrients to work with.

This will prevent peaks and troughs.

If you supply your body with lots of the same nutrients at once it will pass what is not required.

Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.

It is better to have a continued trickle effect.

This results in a daily dose of 3380mg is up there with the best test boosters.

Pros

On paper this doesn’t look too bad…

Testocrine consists of some effective ingredients.

You cannot argue with the combination of:

  • Vitamin D3
  • DAA
  • Zinc
  • DIM

Three of these ingredients are found in effective testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel.

It is reassuring to see that DIM is included too.

DIM helps regulate estrogen levels, and to stop them getting out of hand.

This is why so many athletes each broccoli because it contains DIM.

This product is very cheap, too.

Yet, there is probably a reason for that…

Cons

There’s a very low number of total ingredients.

Plus from the total of just six ingredients, two of them are not proven to be effective at stimulating testosterone.

Tribulus is not confirmed to help benefit test levels at all. Thorough testing has proven that it does not increase testosterone production.

Theoretically DHEA supplementation should increase androgen levels.

That is because the body uses DHEA to produce male sex hormone (testosterone).

Therefore, it should be safe to assume that if there is more DHEA available, more testosterone can be produced.

Plus, natural DHEA levels also decrease as we age, just like testosterone does.

However, research has yet to prove that supplementation of DHEA will increase testosterone.

This is such a new product that there are no other user reviews at the moment for comparison and too see if anyone has experienced any unwanted side effects.

However, let’s look through what scientific studies are warning us of…

Unwanted Side Effects

This supplement is mainly safe to use.

  • However, tribulus is making a name for itself…

If you are on certain medication to control blood pressure please do not take this supplement.

Lab tests on animals link tribulus to problems in fetal development. So stay away from tribulus if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Women may also have period problems.

Also, men should be aware that there are some concerns about possible links between tribulus and prostate problems.

Both men and women may have problems sleeping with products containing tribulus.

  • DHEA is also throwing up some potential red flags…

Again, if you are a woman, taking DHEA can cause menstrual cycle changes just as tribulus can.

It may also cause fatigue, headaches and increase blood pressure.

Women may also notice an increase of facial hair whereas men can see hair loss.

Other common problems can be acne and general oily skin.

What Improvements Could Be Made?

This test booster needs further development.

Testocrine does not offer the wide range of proven ingredients that make test boosters in the top 3 so successful.

There are just six ingredients in total with two of those not offering any proven benefit and they also have some undesirable side effects.

This testosterone booster supplement also omits a number of safe and proven ingredients that should be included.

Look at the ingredients listed below which would be of benefit:

  • B12
  • Vit. C
  • B6
  • Oyster
  • Creatine
  • K2
  • Fenugreek
  • Boron

Some of these proven ingredients are included in the best testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel.

My Total Nutrition Technology TESTOCRINE Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion

This lacks too many proven ingredients.

There are just three ingredients able to help stimulate testosterone and just one to suppress estrogen.

That means this is way behind the more effective supplements which will provide eight or more scientifically proven ingredients all able to contribute to elevating natural testosterone levels.

With fewer ingredients there’s going to be a lesser effect.

We won’t build as much muscle and we will not slow down the ageing process.

Any final words for this review..?

More ingredients should be included for better results.

Thus, you should check out the better options, here.

Testocrine Rivals

Let’s see what other best rated natural testosterone booster supplements are pitched against Testocrine.

Prime Male

It is hard not to make a good case for Prime Male because it is so effective due to its large number of proven and distinctly well regarded ingredient profile.

Prime Male has been proven to help increase natural testosterone levels and is backed by some great figures from the world of sport and film.

Developed with the older man in mind, it is still useful for all ages, and women.

PROS

  • Contains twelve clinically proven ingredients to help stimulate testosterone
  • Contains anti-inflammatory ingredients to help prevent chronic disease
  • Helps control stress levels

CONS

  • The dose of D-Aspartic Acid would benefit from being higher
  • It misses out on Fenugreek

TestRX

Along with TestoFuel, TestRX contains some higher doses of the ever important yet often overlooked Vitamin D3 and D-Aspartic Acid.

TestRX has also been on the scene for a good number of years, this longevity is a reflection of the powerful ingredients included.

It’s only reason for a lower score is the lower number of ingredients included.

PROS

  • High doses of D3 and D-Aspartic Acid
  • Includes Fenugreek which stimulates test levels and cuts fat
  • Well established product standing the test of time

CONS

  • Fewer number of total ingredients included per dose
  • Omits a couple important ingredients such as Boron

TestoFuel

How can we not mention a number of rival natural testosterone boosters without including the No.1 TestoFuel?

TestoFuel has long been the highest rated test booster due to the collection of proven ingredients with the correct dosage to have the best effects.

This is has been my first choice for over three years now and I couldn’t feel better without it.
